Rodent Investigation & Survey Oxford
Unexplained scratching, droppings or repeated rodent activity call for investigation. ProPest provides rodent investigation and surveys in Oxford and Oxfordshire to assess evidence, likely access routes and the work needed.

Understanding the evidence
We discuss the history of activity and inspect safely accessible areas for signs of rats or mice. The assessment considers the location of droppings, gnawing, harbourage and potential food and water sources. Sounds alone cannot reliably identify the animal or prove the entry point.
Looking beyond the visible problem
A recurring infestation may involve building gaps, service entries or drainage defects. We examine accessible routes and explain where further investigation may be useful. A separate drain CCTV survey may be recommended when underground access is suspected. Concealed voids and inaccessible areas can limit conclusions.
What the survey includes
It is an assessment service; a treatment programme, drain camera inspection, proofing or repairs should not be assumed to be included. We explain recommended work and any separate charges before proceeding.
Practical next steps
Findings guide a plan that may combine control, exclusion and changes to food storage or waste management. We distinguish observed evidence from suspected routes so you can make an informed decision. Blocking an entrance without assessing current activity can leave the underlying problem unresolved.
Getting ready for the visit
Share photographs and details of the rooms affected. Tell us about pets, children, earlier treatments and known drainage problems. Provide access to relevant spaces without disturbing suspected contaminated material. Book the survey online or contact us if you are unsure which service matches your concern.
